Our Story
Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario Keous was formed in 1999 as a private, Canadian company. In 2006, Keous became an IT solutions services division of the Procom Group of Companies based in Toronto. As a result of our association with Procom, Keous has gained an international capability. In 2008, Keous was identified by the Branham Group as one of the top 25 Up and Coming IT Companies in Canada
Keous started as a professional organization specializing in the modernization and migration of legacy IT systems. In particular, the company focused on migrating large application software systems from mainframe to the Microsoft platform. Keous continued to develop a specific expertise in Microsoft-based software development and now has a technology focus on Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SharePoint.
Keous Solutions has been providing HR Payroll products and services to Ontario School Districts since 2005. Keous’ primary business focus is the IPPS.net Human Resources and Payroll System. Keous offers a complete range of services related to the procurement, implementation and support of our HR-Payroll management solution, including:

As a result with keous@EDU , Keous is now focusing on K-12 and Higher ED collaborative solutions with the use Microsoft technologies by collaborating and delivering to K-12 and Universities & Colleges, government, and businesses.

Through the association with Procom, one of the largest IT staffing and recruitment firms in Canada, Keous has access to a large base of IT technicians and consultants for specific projects.
In addition, Keous is a Technology Services partner to the Educational Computing Network of Ontario (ECNO).
In 2005, Keous was contracted by the ECNO to complete the migration of the ECNO’s Human Resources Management System (IPPS) from its legacy OpenVMS and Oracle technology platform to the Microsoft .net platform. As part of the project Keous also made the software compatible with Microsoft SQL Server database management, totally re-developed the User Interface and incorporated a number of functionality improvements as identified by the IPPS User Community.
In September of 2007, with the successful completion of the IPPS migration project, ECNO engaged Keous in a multi-year services agreement to provide software maintenance and end-user support to the 24 ECNO Boards using the IPPS.net Suite.
